About

All right, so – “What’s this website all about?”

This website is about enabling the mission of the Information Percolation Initiative, which simply and clearly intends to harness awareness of information quality.

And the nitty – gritties of Information and the activity of its percolation is indulged into in a greater aspect at the home-site of the InfoPerc (abr.) Initiative, but in case you do not feel like getting all philosophically academically deep right, and would more rather really just get into your possession some quality information about [tagtip]Marketing[/tagtip] | Advice and Tips than, in a nutshell here’s what [tagtip]Marketing[/tagtip] | Advice and Tips is all about:

Providing as much as possible various information about [tagtip]Marketing[/tagtip] | Advice and Tips along with the simple easy method of qualifying the value of that information via coherently predefined criteria. (Information Percolation Defined).

This sort of intention behind dumping a crap load of information into a site, loading some banners and calling it “an enterprise”, is what actually makes all the difference in not considering such a venture “spammy”.

Because, while by definition SPAM is uncolicitted mail (even the hard-copy in your home mail box, is SPAM) and the term has been applied to such websites that have been built for affinity with search engines (i.e. – ‘get rich quick schemes’) … and rightfully so.

It is true, many of the articles here might have been procured from similar websites, but purposefully so. The purpose being to give ground for the practice of Percolation of Information — ideally a unconscious competence sort of skill. But as any other such, this skill must undergo much practice before it becomes an evolutionary trait. A trait which is becoming a survival necessity. This assessment is not an exaggeration.

The very fact that you’re reading this means that you’re Internet savvy, certainly have an email, most likely several — accounts in facebook, myspace, what have you: there’s heaps and heaps of information; in your mailbox, on your blog, newsletters, forums … how do you survive?

How do you avoid being the next victim of information overload, and just — labeling all technology and innovation as Satan’s Creations, thus dooming yourself to remain in last century?

My proposal for a solution is through the practice of Information Percolation.

If you’re reading this and are aware of a more effective, or even simply ‘different’ solution — please do not hold it all to yourself! Share it with all who will have it! Because only by enabling others to solve existing problems, can we grow enough to solve our own.
